A piece that shows the moon as the good guy for once. An expression of what it is like to rely on the moon night after night.
My second digital piece is on the different levels of pain and the way pain changes us. We all experience different types of pain through out our lives and how it effects us varies from person to person.
The sweet summer breeze whistles through the leaves of the trees. The smell of burgers fills the air while children's screams echo while they play games. Along with shorts and the sickly sticky taste of lemonade, this is summer.
When school was fun
We built a rocket in science class The past was better than the present For lunch we got taco boats When life was simple I always imagined moving would be fun It challenges my memory of old places. I got used to living on unknown streets. Always excited to start a new adventure. Counting one blessing at a time. My dad used to be my hero But then he divorced my mom My mother used to be my idol But parents weren’t created for that So now I am silent and depressed. I looked forward to weekends away, Not having to remember anything from school Having just enough money to buy ice cream Eating cookies for lunch because I can Trying to take life not so seriously Every year around Christmas my family would have guests. It was always my grandparents on my dad's side. I loved seeing how happy he would get. Sometimes the said visiting was hard because of money, But my parents would always help out. |
